PREPARE FOR THE 2018 FPC MISSIONS CONFERENCE FEB. 3-4! Dr. Paul Kooistra will preach four messages about “Missions and the Love of God.” It is an honor and a privilege to welcome Dr. Kooistra again to our pulpit. He has served as a pastor and professor at Belhaven College and Reformed Theological Seminary, president of Covenant Theological Seminary, president of Erskine College and Erskine Theological Seminary, and for twenty years was the coordinator of Mission to the World, the missionary agency of the PCA. Still he speaks with the humility, dignity, and clarity of our own Dr. Thompson. It will also be our treat to enjoy the company of Dr. Kooistra’s wife Sandi. A special program is scheduled for K-5th grade students Saturday morning and during the joint Sunday School hour Sunday. The Sunday evening worship service will include a procession of flags from countries in which we have missionaries serving and special music sung by FPC children. A nursery will be provided.
Join First Presbyterian in our annual Day of Prayer on January 11, 2018. The sanctuary will be open and available for use from 8am – 5pm. A group prayer time will be held at noon for those who can attend. See the document below for the 2018 Prayer Guide.
